Melanie Galea, RMT: CranioSacral Therapy

Melanie's education began at Durham College in Oshawa in the Sports Administration and Post-Diploma programs. Shortly after she began her studies at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy where she graduated in 1996.She began studying CranioSacral Therapy in 1996 and has continued education with the Upledger Institute by completing: CranioSacral therapy one & two; SomatoEmotional Release one & two; Advanced CranioSacral Therapy; Advanced CranioSacral Therapy II; the Brain Speaks; CST Teaching Tutorial. Melanie became certified to teach CranioSacral Therapy Introduction classes in March 2002. Her first class was in November 2002 in Oshawa. In 2004 Melanie traveled to teach in: Oshawa, Ottawa, Calgary, AB, and Nelson, B.C.Durham College also regularly schedules Melanie to teach an evening introduction class to CranioSacral Therapy.In October 2004 Melanie was accepted into the apprentice program at the Upledger Institute to further her teaching capabilities of CranioSacral Therapy. She began her apprenticeship in March 2005 which will continue into 2006.It's very important to Melanie to continue to educate herself personally and professionally. She credits www.landmarkeducation.com 's course "Landmark Forum" for the most significant personal transformation, which of course always affects her professional life.A Touch of Infinity became it's own office in 1998 in Whitby with Duncan joining the "team" in July 2002.Melanie is committed to making a difference in her community by helping to empower people with their health, wellness and emotional well being.
